CMW in conjunction with Total Comms Training is delivering a City & Guilds 3668-02 Unit 202: Level 2 Award in Fibre Optic Cabling, a nationally recognised qualification designed to equip professionals with the practical and theoretical skills needed for fibre optic installation in both internal and external environments, at our head office in Bedford.

The course will commence on Monday 15th September.

Key Learning Objectives

Participants will:
 

• Conduct risk assessments and work safely with optical fibres
• Follow recommended installation procedures
• Prepare and splice fibre optic cables
• Terminate and test fibre optic links
• Understand components and equipment used in fibre installations

Assessment & Certification

 

• Multiple-choice exam (30 questions, closed book)
• Timed practical assessments
• Digital certificate awarded by City & Guilds upon successful completion with optional digital credentials for CPD 

Please note: To achieve the full Level 2 Award in Communications Cabling, learners must also complete the mandatory Unit 201: Principles of Communications Cabling.
